My first pattern is inspired by my twin girls & Carlie in particular.  They are 6, and while they like character stuff, they really are fashionistas.  When they were too they would spend free time at preschool talking about shoes & clothes with one of their BFF’s Jocelyn.  They love a lot of the trendy styles teens and adults are wearing and I am okay with that as long as they are an age appropriate twist.  They saw and loved the dolman tops I made myself & next thing I knew I was sewing them up some and coming up with different ways to finish them.

Carlie’s Dolman Top is a trendy top with multiple hem options and a flattering wide cut boat neck. The girls love it not only because it’s comfy but because it’s cute and fashionable. The best part is it fits, infants, toddlers, girls, tweens & teens!

This is a simple quick sew using knit fabrics. Many of my testers were new to knits and beginners with sewing garments in general, but they could sew it up in under an hour. Even if the first one wasn’t perfect they were totally wearable and their kids begged for more! Wit- in 2 tries you would have no idea they had just started sewing with knits!

I have also included great custom fit instructions so not only do you get 12 sizes in one pattern, but you also get directions to help make a custom fit top for girls needing slim and plus sizes.
